Stone Roses reunion sees sales of band's back catalogue go up by over 1,000 per cent Get Tickets
Manchester legends enjoy a serious sales spike after yesterday's announcement
The band confirmed their reunion and two homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 29-30 in 2012 at a press conference in central London.
After the gigs take place, the band will embark on an extensive world tour. They also confirmed they have been in the studio and are working on new material.
According to Amazon, sales of the band's back catalogue have dramatically increased since the announcement was made.
Sales of 'The Very Best Of The Stone Roses' are up by 1,074 per cent, sales of the band's second album 'Second Coming' are up by 1,001 per cent, while the special edition of their self-titled debut album have increased by 878 per cent. Finally, sales of the compilation 'The Complete Stone Roses' are up by 477 per cent.
Tickets for the band's Heaton Park shows go on sale on Friday (October 21) at 9.30am (BST).
