NME is celebrating The Stone Roses' reunion with a special collectors' issue.

The issue, which is onsale from today (April 25), features the full story behind Ian Brown and co's rise to the top, the creation of their seminal debut album, the legal wrangles and lengthy delays behind their second LP 'Second Coming' and their reunion late last year.

The magazine, which is priced at £5.99, also contains the band's greatest interviews, a selection of never-before-seen photographs and gives you the chance to win some of guitarist John Squire's artwork.

The issue is available from all good newsagents and digitally – click here to order your copy.

Speaking about the issue, editor Hamish MacBain said: "It was the reunion that fans craved like no other... until last October when it became glorious reality. As the world waits with baited breath for The Stone Roses, 17 years on from their demise, to write a new chapter in their history, this very special magazine tells their full story: from the earliest rehearsals as teenagers, through the making of a classic debut album and some legendary gigs, to the turmoil of the latter years, their eventual split, the solo years and beyond."

He continued:

There are brilliant interviews from the NME archive and hundreds of never-before-seen photos... as well as a sneak peak into the making of their new album! It's not to be missed, by anyone.

The Stone Roses are playing at this year's T In The Park, which is taking place July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross. To check the availability of T In The Park 2012 tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
