The Stone Roses played their first gig in nearly 17 years last Wednesday (May 23) and this week's new issue of NME offers you the complete story from that night.

The issue, which is on newsstands tomorrow (May 30) or available digitally, features all the gossip from backstage at Warrington Parr Hall, including an interview with The Stone Roses' number one fan Liam Gallagher and an exclusive chat with the 'fifth Stone Rose' Cressa.

As well as this there's loads of amazing photos, interviews with the punters and the complete guide to how the night unfolded.

Also in this week's issue, NME offers up the ultimate music quiz, with loads of prizes to be won if you prove your music knowledge is up to the task.

To add to that, there's the inside scoop on Julian Casablancas' future plans with The Strokes, interviews with Plan B, My Bloody Valentine, SCUM and Grimes.

The new albums from The Hives, Liars, Ladyhawke and Neil Young and Crazy Horse are also reviewed, while we run the rule over The Cribs, DZ Deathrays and Guns N' Roses recent live shows.

The Stone Roses are playing at this year's T In The Park, which is taking place on July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross-shire. To check the availability of T In The Park 2012 tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
