The Stone Roses score a Top 10 spot on official UK iTunes albums chart

The Stone Roses have entered the Top 10 in this week's official UK iTunes album chart.

The Manchester baggy legends went in at Number Seven with their greatest hits collection 'The Very Best Of The Stone Roses' off the back off their Heaton Park shows last weekend and their recent T In The Park headline slot.

The band were 13 places higher in the download chart than their official album chart over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown scored a chart double topping the iTunes singles chart with 'Don't Wake Me Up' and his new album 'Fortune'. He beat Maroon 5's 'Payphone' into third place despite it being this week's official singles chart topper.

Other than that the iTunes singles chart virtually virtually mirrors the official countdown. Check back on Sunday to see who has topped this week's official charts.
