MOBO nominations announced

The Streets, OutKast and Gnarls Barkley are set to battle it out

The nominations for the 2006 MOBO awards have been announced, with The Streets up against Gnarls Barkley and OutKast for the best group award.

Beyonce has been nominated for four awards, while Corinne Bailey Rae and Kano have three nominations each.

UK hip-hop and R&B artists are well represented at the awards with nominations for Plan B, Jamelia, Beverly Knight and Mercury Music Prize contender Sway.
