The Streets, Kasabian, Lily Allen and The Presets are among the artists added to the bill for the Big Day Out festival in 2007.

They join bands including Muse, My Chemical Romance, Tool, The Killers, Peaches and Jet for the touring festival, which travels around New Zealand and Australia from January 19 next year.

Huge demand for tickets has already seen the Sydney and Gold Coast legs of the event sell out, but fans still have a chance to enter a ballot for extra tickets through the Big Day Out website at Bigdayout.com.

The dates are as follows:

Auckland MT Smart Stadium (January 19)
Gold Coast Parklands (21)
Sydney Showgrounds (25)
Melbourne Princes Park South (28)
Adelaide Royal Showground (February 2)
Perth Claremont Showground (4)
