Mike Skinner has vowed to give up his healthy ways.

The Streets mainman has posted on his blog that he feels he’s been getting too grown-up lately, and wants to rekindle his wild ways.

However before anyone starts thinking all-night benders, or rock 'n' roll behaviour, Skinners has decided on a rather tame route to excess: oven food.

“I've decided to eat more oven food,” he declared, “as I've tended to get quite grown up and healthy lately which is never a good thing. Chips, beans and fish fingers. Harsh.”

The rapper did confess as part of his new regime, that he had “a bit of an ‘on one big one’ on the bus home” on the way back from his label The Beats' recent package tour, but was now hard at work again.

“I've been catching up on all the stuff I should have done before I went away,” he explained. “I also went to the studio for a few days to record a cover version for some Radio 1 thing. That was quite fun actually, apart from me being so emotional as a result of the weekend that I could barely record my vocal for it.”
