Streets and Muse collaboration ditched

Mike Skinner says he doesn't think the song is any good

Mike Skinner has decided to dump the track he recorded with Muse.

As previously reported, The Streets frontman recorded 'Who Knows Who' with Muse, an early version of which leaked onto the internet.

But now Skinner has said it probably won't get a release.

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "We did the track and it felt really genuine, but a bit of a laugh as well.

"Then the label started getting too excited by it, so I fucked it off. I didn't really think it was that good, anyway."

Hah.It was good until Mike started singing. His voice isn't agressive enough! He sounds like some posh boy trying to 'rap'....actually it just sounds like he's just talking. Chavvy prat.

I like the music Mike Skinner makes but if Muse want to be the UK equivalent to Rage Against The Machine, they should have found someone else as Mike Skinner doesn't rap like Zach DE La Rocha, his voice isn't aggressive enough! Pennie who used to be in The Automatic would be good!

Muse were considering becoming a jazz band, so I doubt they want to emulate RageSkinner had a taste of what it's like to be in the best band in the World, and the experience obviously scared him
