THE STROKES celebrated the start of 2004 with a version of Auld Lang Syne at their New Year’s Eve gig with KINGS OF LEON in LAS VEGAS.

The band played at the Cox Pavilion, which is situated next to the infamous Hard Rock Hotel (December 31).

According to fans at the show, the band interrupted their set half way through to see in the new year.

A fan at the gig told NME.COM: “Albert, Fab and Nikolai played Auld Lang Syne. Then, after loads of hugs and smiles, balloons were dropped onto the crowd!”
