The Strokes guitarist goes solo
To help out an old friend
The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi has collaborated with Regina Spektor on her new album.
Valensi helped the singer-songwriter out on ’Better’, a track from her forthcoming album ’Begin To Hope’.
“Did I know that I was going to have him play? No. It was like ‘Well, do we know any really cool guitarists?' And then he came in,” Spektor told Rollingstone.com.
The Strokes previously collaborated with Spektor on the track ’Modern Girls & Old Fashion Men’ the B-side of 2004 single ’Reptilia’.
