The man who discovered The Strokes and The Libertines, James Endeacott, brings you a free CD with this weeks edition of NME.
The CD collects the best new bands on his new label 1965 Records.
The View whose ’Screamin’ N Shoutin’ (live) features on the exclusive compilation, explained why they signed to owner James Endeacott’s label.
Guitarist Peter Reilly said: “We signed to James’ label because he’s a totally genuine guy who’s really enthusiastic about what we do.
“He’d be down the front at our gigs jumping and shouting ‘Love you boys!’”
The CD ’NME Presents: Independent Thinking’ 1965 Records features 14 tracks from 14 exciting bands, including Ripchord, The Draytones and The Law.
For your free CD, be sure to get this weeks NME available in all good newsagents now.
