The Strokes' bassist Nikolai Fraiture has put three songs online from his new project Nickel Eye.
Three tracks entitled ‘Dying Star’, ‘Brandy Of the Damned’ and ‘Back From Exile’ are currently streaming at Myspace.com/officialnickeleye.
Fraiture worked with Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner and Regina Spektor on the project, which is the third solo offshoot of The Strokes.
Drummer Fabrizio Moretti is currently living in Los Angeles and working on a project called ‘Little Joy’, while Albert Hammond, Jr.released his second solo album earlier this month.
As previously reported, Fraiture debuted two songs on Mark Ronson’s East Village Radio show in June.
