The self-titled album is due out in the US on November 4.
The band also includes Moretti's girlfriend, Binki Shapiro, and Brazilian singer-guitarist Rodrigo Amarante, formerly of Los Hermanos.
The trio came together after being introduced by mutual friends, and ended up moving into a house together in the Echo Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
