The Strokes' bassist announces US dates
Nickel Eye will open for The Raveonettes in January

Nickel Eye, the side-project of The Strokes' bassist Nikolai Fraiture, have announced a number of US tour dates, kicking off on January 15 in Boston, MA.
The band will open for The Raveonettes over three dates, wrapping up in Washington DC on January 17.
The project, which sees Fraiture backed by British band South, are currently gearing up for the release of their debut album, 'Time Of The Assassins', which will come out in the US on January 27 via Rykodisc.
The record features guest spots from Regina Spektor and Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, and is comprised of 10 original songs, plus a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye'.
The dates are:
