Strokes bassist and Low vs Diamond to co-headline US tour

Nickel Eye and LA band hit the road this month

Nickel Eye, the side-project of The Strokes' bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and Low vs Diamond have announced a co-headlining tour of North America.

The bands will kick things off on January 18 in Philadelphia and play shows in cities including Toronto, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles before wrapping things up in San Francisco on February 2.

As Nickel Eye, Fraiture will be backed by British band South. They are set to release their debut album, 'Time Of The Assassins', in the US on January 27.

The tour dates are:

Was sent a review copy of Nickel Eye's album. It is dull, dull, dull and almost as bad as South's most recent effort. Typical indie by numbers rubbish. Trust me.
