The Strokes have announced plans for a New York homecoming show this weekend.
The five-piece will perform a special invite-only gig at New York's Metropolitan Opera House to mark Tommy Hilfiger's 25th anniversary this Sunday (September 12), alongside a DJ set from Paul Sevigny.
The band, who headlined the Isle Of Wight festival this year, are currently working on material for the follow-up to their 2006 album 'First Impressions Of Earth'.
Frontman Julian Casablancas has scheduled a release date for March 11 for their fourth studio LP.
