The Strokes have announced details of a free gig at this year's South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.
They will premiere tracks from their new album 'Angles' at the March 17 show, which takes place at the Auditorium Shores Stage at Lady Bird Lake in the city.
Footage from the show is to be put online the following day. The Strokes' management confirmed the news on Twitter.com/wizkidmgmt.
The gig will be free for all to attend – fans just need to turn up on the day.
The Strokes last played SXSW in 2001. They are set to release 'Angles' in the UK on March 21.
The band are set to tour the UK and the rest of Europe later this year, possibly in July.
