The Strokes are set to co-headline Reading Festival tonight (August 27) as the second day of music gets underway at Richfield Avenue.

The New Yorkers are topping the bill at the event for a second time, having previously headlined in 2002 - their last appearance at the bash. Pulp (pictured right) are also making their first appearance at the event since 2002, as the other co-headliners, but playing before The Strokes on the bill - as they did nine years ago.

Jane's Addiction are also set to make their first appearance at the event since they reunited for a third time in 2008, also marking their first visit to the festival since 2002. They headline the NME/Radio 1 Stage tonight.

The National, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jimmy Eat World, Crystal Castles, Glassjaw and Two Door Cinema Club are also set to play the event today.
