Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes has unveiled the video for his track 'Carnal Cruise'.

The guitarist turned solo singer-songwriter premiered the promo via Complex, and you can watch it below.

Hammond Jr will play five UK shows this winter, including gigs in Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and London. Starting in Brighton on December 5, the tour will conclude in London at XOYO on December 10. Scroll down for the full details and ticket information.

Albert Hammond Jr released a new EP, titled 'AHJ', last month on his bandmate Julian Casablancas' Cult Records label. Of the follow-up to his 2006 debut LP 'Yours To Keep' and 2008 record '¿Cómo Te Llama?', Hammond Jr said: "It’s a combination of both previous recordings, which in turn makes it feel like it’s the best material that I’ve made so far."

The guitarist recently denied that The Strokes are back in the studio following a cryptic statement in a fan mailout that the band are preparing a "return to the scene".

Albert Hammond Jr will play:

Brighton The Haunt (December 5)
Glasgow Broadcast (7)
Manchester Night & Day Café (8)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (9)
London XOYO (10)
