Albert Hammond, Jr of The Strokes has married his girlfriend Justyna Sroka.

The guitarist and solo star announced the news on Twitter earlier in the week (December 23), posting a picture of him and his bride, and saying that she has taken on his full surname 'Hammond, Jr'. He posted:

When asked by a fan what his wife's name was, Hammond, Jr replied that she had inspired his recent single, 'St Justice'. He answered: "Justyna Hammond, Jr. AKA St. Justice Or just Justice". The pair met whilst Sroka was working at Cafe Gitane in Manhattan.

The musician released a solo EP called 'AHJ' in October through bandmate Julian Casablancas' Cult Records, which featured 'St Justice' amongst other tracks. It followed his 2006 solo debut album 'Yours to Keep' and 2008's '¿Cómo Te Llama?'. He played five shows in the UK earlier this month.
