THE STROKES have been added to the bill of this weekend's T IN THE PARK festival as a last-minute rejig of the bill takes place.

The New Yorkers stepped in at the last minute to fill the gap on the bill left by Weezer, after they had to pull out due to commitments filming their new video.

The Strokes will fly in on a specially hired private jet from their performance the previous day at the Kristiansand Festival in Norway to make the date at the Perthshire festival.

However, because The Strokes could only play the festival on the Saturday, Weezer having been scheduled to appear on the Sunday, the bills on the Main Stage have been slightly altered each day.

Shed Seven now appear on the Sunday, and also on Sunday, Beckand Coldplay have swapped places.

The line-up on the Main Stage for each day now reads:

Saturday, July 7
Stereophonics
David Gray
Placebo
James
Muse
The Dandy Warhols
The Strokes
Tom McRae

Sunday, July 8
Texas
Beck
Coldplay
Toploader
Feeder
Shed Seven
Starsailor
Nikka Costa
