The Thrills play charity gig

The Thrills are set to play a charity gig in aid of Barnardo's children’s charity next month.

They will be joined by main headliners and recent Meteor Award winners Director, Duke Special, The Blizzards and The Coronas for the Help Dublin Child concert in Olympia on March 31.

The gig hopes to raise £33,000 (50,000 euros) for the charity.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "We provide services that challenge disadvantage and offer new hope for children's futures. But we could not do it without the support of concerts such as this."

The band are currently recording their third album, the follow-up to 2004's 'Let's Bottle Bohemia'.
