The Ting Tings play debut London headline show
Fast-rising duo play intimate gig in the capital
Playing to a sell-out crowd, the band played forthcoming single 'Great DJ' (out March 3) and 'That's Not My Name' – tipped to be an anthem at this summer’s festivals – plus newer, slower numbers such as 'Traffic Light'.
During the aforementioned 'Traffic Light' drummer Jules De Martino abandoned his drum kit and played electric guitar while Katie White slang the slow, soulful tune.
White then ventured into the crowd during set-closer 'That’s Not My Name', and was engulfed in the front row as she sang.
The band are due to head on tour in February, playing first on the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour 2008, along with The Cribs, Does It Offend You Yeah? and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong.
