The Ting Tings: 'We might start a new band!' The Ting Tings Tickets
Mancs may try to spice up their second record by starting again

The Ting Tings have revealed they may start a new band after releasing and touring their first album.
The Manchester indie-pop stars are keen to recapture the edge of when they initially formed and don’t want to repeat the same formula.
Drummer and vocalist Jules De Martino told NME.COM: “We were thinking maybe what we should do is once we’ve finished and toured this album is just start a new band!
“The second album needs that extra little edge you didn’t have last time, and maybe the edge we’ve got is that we just fell into this. We didn’t intend to start a band, so maybe next January we should just pretend to start a band again!”
The Ting Tings recorded their forthcoming album themselves and had to contend with pneumatic drills and building work during takes.
