The Ting Tings have spoken about their plans for the follow-up to their 2008 debut album 'We Started Nothing'.

Singer Katie White has revealed that the band are planning to get inspiration for their new album in Paris and Berlin.

"We've got loads of ideas but we've consciously made a decision not to write anything down yet," she told the (Daily Star). "Some of the best shows we've ever done were in France. So we're hoping to go to Paris for inspiration next year."

White revealed that the duo are planning to spend time in Germany before recording the album.

"We're obsessed with Berlin," she said. "But I don't think we'd get much work done out there because there's too many distractions."

She also hinted that the new album would see the band making some subtle changes to their sound.

"We'd like to have a brass section," she added.
