The Ting Tings played a hit-friendly set on the Isle Of Wight's Main Stage tonight (June 12), showcasing songs from their debut album 'We Started Nothing'.

The Manchester duo got the crowd going with tracks including 'Be The One' and 'Great DJ'.

Wearing a grey cap and sparkling dress, singer Katie White said little to the crowd during the duo's set, although she jumped around frantically during 'Shut Up And Let Me Go'.

The band ended with a frenetic version of 'That's Not My Name'.

Ladyhawke also played the bash, wowing the Isle Of Wight masses by performing a singles-heavy set.

The New Zealander played tracks from her self-titled debut album, including 'Paris Is Buring' and 'My Delirium'.

Earlier in the evening, the blonde songwriter told NME.COM she "couldn't wait" to play her set at the festival, hoping that the Isle Of Wight festival would "kick off" her summer.

Earlier in the day, newcomer Pixie Lott played a well-received set which included new single 'Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)' to fans in the Big Top.

The 18-year-old hyped up the crowd by giving shout-outs to fans and singing tracks from her debut album 'Turn It Up'.

Taking to the Main Stage after The Ting Tings, Pendulum got festival-goers moving with their mix of rock and drum 'n' bass.

During 'Blood Sugar', frontman Rob Swire gestured to the crowd to move their feet, resulting in mass cheers from the audience.

The black-clad band also had fans in the palm of their hands when they played a version of 'Diesel Power' – by tonight's headliners The Prodigy – towards the end of their set.

Opening for The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx played the Main Stage, dipping into their back-catalogue for an hour-log performance.

With tracks including the likes of 'Romeo' and 'Where's Your Head At?', the DJ duo were backed by a full live group including extra singers, drummers and instrumentalists. Ending their set with an apocalyptic version of 'Rendez-Vu', the band wished the crowd the best and exited the stage.
