Twang showcase new album at Birmingham pub show The Twang Tickets
Band play home-town show in UK's second city
The Twang showcased their forthcoming new album 'Jewellery Quarter' last night (May 22), playing an intimate pub show at the Birmingham Rainbow.
The band played seven songs from the new album, set for release in July, at the sold-out home-town show.

The gig was attended by a slew of die-hard fans who had been quick to snap up tickets, with many almost drowning out Phil Etheridge and co as they opened with older single 'Wide Awake'.
Etheridge was appreciative of the support, shouting, "Is this Birmingham? Well let’s have a little party then!" to welcome them.
The new songs played saw The Twang showcasing a more subtle direction than their debut album, 2007's 'Love It When I Feel Like This', with new single 'Barney Rubble' boasting shuffling drums and tender lyrical delivery from Etheridge.
The band ended the show with a three-song encore – 'Took The Fun', 'The Neighbour' and 'Cloudy Room' – before heading off to rapturous applause.
The Twang played:
'Wide Awake'
'Back Where We Started'
'Ice Cream Sundae'
'Live The Life'
'Push The Ghosts'
'Got Not Interest'
'Either Way'
'Barney Rubble'
'Encouraging Sign'
'Two Lovers'
'Another Bus'
'Took The Fun'
'The Neighbour'
'Cloudy Room'
