The Irish punk legends are to play the Olympia in December...

THE UNDERTONES are to round off the year which saw them make a warmly-received comeback with a gig at DUBLIN OLYMPIA on December 10.

The Derry punk veterans made their live debut without frontman Feargal Sharkey last year, with Paul McCloone taking over vocal duties, performing a greatest hits set that included 'Here Comes The Summer', 'Wednesday Week', 'My Perfect Cousin' and 'Teenage Kicks'.

This summer they played the Fleadh Festival in London and performed before 70,000 people at the Witnness Festival in Ireland.
