The Vaccines have announced plans for a UK tour next May.

The band, who released their debut LP ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ in March this year, have lined up four seaside dates to take place next year.

The jaunt will kick off at Dundee Caird Hall on May 2 before wrapping up with a gig at Brighton Centre on May 7.

The Vaccines will play:

Dundee Caird Hall (May 2)
Bridlington Spa (3)
Blackpool Empress Ballroom (4)
Brighton Centre (7)

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 16). To check the availability of The Vaccines tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

Last month, The Vaccines' frontman Justin Young told NME that the band were eager "not to make the same record again" as they began writing material for their second album.

"Guitar bands in particular seem to get in the habit of making the same record over and over again, and I think we're really keen to avoid that," he said. "It's the natural thing to do, isn't it? 'What did people find attractive in us first time round? Oh, better not lose that then'."
