The Vaccines will play a secret Glastonbury show on Sunday afternoon (June 30), NME can exclusively reveal.

The band will perform live between 16:00 - 16:40 on the William's Green stage.

The Vaccines played on the Pyramid Stage on Friday (June 28) prior to performances from Dizzee Rascal and headliners Arctic Monkeys.

The London band recently revealed new song 'Melody Calling', which was recorded during recording sessions in March at Eldorado Studios in Burbank, LA, with producers John Hill (Rihanna, MIA, Santigold) and Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys). 'Melody Calling' will be released in August, prior to The Vaccines' US tours with Phoenix and Mumford and Sons. It was performed during the band's Glastonbury set.

The prolific band released their second album 'Come Of Age' in 2012, having released their debut a year before. They travelled to Los Angeles in March to lay down "a few" new songs, of which 'Melody Calling' is one. Speaking to NME earlier this year, frontman Justin Young admitted he does not know what will become of the the "different" sounding songs, but he is hopeful fans will be able to buy them soon.

The Rolling Stones will close the second day of Glastonbury 2013, which kicks off today (June 29), with a bill including performances from Primal Scream, Two Door Cinema Club and Johnny Marr. The Rolling Stones headline performance will mark the band's first ever appearance on the Glastonbury bill. Speaking about the band's Glastonbury show, guitarist Keith Richards said it was “The culmination of our British heritage. It had to be done and it's gonna be done. We'll see what happens."
