Visa issues force the Scots to pull shows

The View cancel North American tour

The View have been forced to cancel their North American tour, including their shows at the South By Southwest festival, as a result of unforeseen visa issues and immigration trouble.

The band were scheduled to play seven shows, kicking off on March 3. There is no word yet as to if and when they will be rescheduled.

As previously reported on NME.COM, The View recently completed a short tour of the US, including two sold-out nights at New York’s Mercury Lounge.

The cancelled dates are:

Brooklyn, NY Luna Lounge (March 3)
Toronto, ON Lee's Palace (5)
Chicago, IL Schuba's (7)
Seattle, WA Crocodile Cafe (9)
San Francisco, CA Slim's (11)
Los Angeles, CA Troubadour (13)
Austin, TX SXSW (14-18)
New York Bowery Ballroom (20)
