The View star faces drugs charge
Kyle Falconer is accused of cocaine possession
The View's frontman Kyle Falconer is facing a drugs charge.
The singer is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court next Friday (March 2) after he was allegedly caught in possession of cocaine in the band's home city last August.
As previously reported on NME.COM the four-piece were forced to cancel their North American tour, which was due to kick off in New York next Saturday (March 3), over visa issues and immigration trouble.
Under US law anyone who has been been arrested must declare it when applying for a visa.
As a result, Falconer's arrest has prevented him from being granted entry into the US and forced the band to cancel eight dates, including their South By South West festival appearance, reports the Daily Record.
The View are due to release their debut album 'Hats Off To The Buskers' in North America on March 13.
