The View reschedule Nottingham gig after drunken cancellation

Dundee band will head to the city in January

The View have announced that they have rescheduled a gig in Nottingham after frontman Kyle Falconer was too drunk to perform at the original scheduled date.

The Dundee band had been set to play a gig at the Bodega venue on October 24, but had to scrap the show because Falconer was too intoxicated to play.

The band have announced that they will instead play at the Nottingham Rescue Rooms on January 24 next year.

Ticketholders will have new tickets issued to them in January. Fans who want a refund are advised to return their tickets to point of purchase before November 30.

Another chronic band for the teenyboppers to adore......the View should just stay drunk permanently and they wouldn't write any more crap songs or tour, I can only dream.

I was there that night, and TECHNICALLY speaking, the gig wasnt scrapped. Kieren and the other boys tried to pull off the show. Don't get me wrong it was a shambles, but the gig wasnt actually cancelled. You can read my review of this gig at ng-magazine.com the online magazine for the Nottingham area.http://ng-magazine.com/Diary/Music/The_View:_Live_Review_Nottingham_Bodega_Social,_24th_October_2008/

Kirkcaldy was a similar shambolic performance, although Kyle only threatened to leave, didnt actually do it. When they were good they were very good...but as for the rest of it...theres a good review herehttp://extremelisteningmode.com/2008/11/30/the-view-ocean-nightclub-kirkcaldy/
