THE VINES PULL MASSIVE US TOUR

Vines have pulled out of a massive tour in the US.

The band, who as revealed in last week’s NME pulled out of a gig in Sydney after a shambolic show earlier in the week (May 28) have now cancelled a lucrative arena tour with Incubus which was due to start later this month.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM: "The decision to cancel the tour has been made for the band to take a break and deal with mental and physical exhaustion issues they currently face. The band would like to thank their fans and everyone close to them for their continued support and understanding."

The group are currently scheduled to return to the UK for the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals in August. As NME.COM went to press they were still scheduled to play the festival.
