The Vines set to release 'Best Of'
Garage rockers' career profiled ahead of fourth album
The Vines are set to release their first 'Best Of' compilation album.
The album, out May 5, marks the end of the band’s time at record label Capitol, and compiles tracks from their career so far.
The band have released three albums - 'Highly Evolved', 'Winning Days' and 'Vision Valley' - and have been beset by line-up changes and singer, songwriter and guitarist Craig Nicholls’ volatile behaviour, later identified as Asperger’s Syndrome.
The group completed their fourth album last week (beginning March 3), after recording with the producer of their first two albums, Rob Schnapf, in Los Angeles.
The record is set for release in summer 2008.
