The Walkmen announce North American dates
New York rockers gear up for brief summer jaunt
The Walkmen have announced that they will play a handful of North American shows later this month.
The New York indie rockers recently came off the NME Presents Kaiser Chiefs tour, supporting the Leeds lads.
The band are now plotting additional dates on their own steam, beginning in Chicago on June 16. They'll then hit US and Canadian cities including Ottawa, Cleveland and Detroit.
They'll wrap things up at Calgary's Sled Island Music Festival on June 28.
The tour dates are:
Chicago, IL Taste of Randolph Street (June 16)
Ottawa, Ontario Capital Idea! Festival (22)
Indianapolis, IN The Vogue (24)
Cleveland, OH Agora Theatre & Ballroom (25)
Detroit, MI Majestic Theatre (26)
Calgary, Alberta Sled Island Music Festival (28)
