The Walkmen advertise for new band members
Fancy playing live with the band in London?
The Walkmen are looking for trumpet and trombone players to join them onstage during their gig at London ULU on October 28.
The band, who recently released new album 'You And Me', are after numerous paid musicians to play on five songs during the set.
Applicants should email pete@marcata.net with their contact information, details on which instrument they can play and their location.
Those chosen will need to attend a soundcheck at the venue at 12:30pm (BST) on the day of the gig. They will also be provided with MP3s of the songs and sheet music.
Although the extra musicians are only needed for the London gig, The Walkmen play the following UK dates:
London ULU (28 October)
Manchester Academy 3 (29)
Bristol Thekla (30)
Leeds Cockpit (31)
Glasgow Stereo (November 1)
Dublin Button Factory (2)
