The Weeknd reveals new song 'Kiss Land' - listen
R&B singer reveals album title track from forthcoming studio debut
'Kiss Land', the song, was revealed by the Toronto- based singer online overnight. Clocking in at around eight minutes long, the song is accompanied on YouTube by what look like stills from pornography. The track was produced by hip-hop producer silkky Johnson who has previously worked with A$AP Rocky.
The 'Kiss Land' LP will be The Weeknd's proper studio follow-up his mixtape trilogy and is due for release later on this year. The album was teased back in January when the singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, posted a picture a picture of his computer desktop, which featured a folder named '2013 untitled album'. He then followed it up with a tweet, writing: "If you thought my shit knocked before... 2013."
The Weeknd will perform at Glastonbury festival next month, appearing on the West Holts stage. Other artists due to perform on the same stage across the weekend of June 28-30 include Chic, Public Enemy, Bobby Womack and Major Lazer.
As previously reported, Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons will headline Glastonbury. This year's festival is to be live streamed for the first time with viewers able to watch different stages as they happen.
