ALL WHITE ON GRAMMYS NIGHT!

The duo are nominated in four categories...

will be appearing onstage at this year’s GRAMMY AWARDS whether they win in any of their four nominated categories or not.


Jack and Meg have been announced, alongside Christina Aguilera and Evanescence, as the first acts to confirm they will perform live at the awards, reports MTV.


Taking place on February 8 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, the awards are the highest accolade in the American music industry.


Already the recipient of a number of gongs including NME’s album of 2003, ‘Elephant’ is up against Missy Elliott’s ‘Under Construction’, ’s ‘Fallen’, OutKast ’s ‘Speakerboxx’/’The Love Below’ and Evanescence’s ‘Justified’ for Album Of The Year.


To scoop the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, the Flaming Lips have to fight off Radiohead, and [a][/a].


Their single ‘Seven Nation Army’ is nominated for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Vocal Group and Best Rock Song.
