'Health issues' forces White Stripes to scrap US tour

The White Stripes have announced the cancellation of the rest of their upcoming US tour dates.
The band are scrapping 18 dates that were due to start later this week (September 13).
The band announced today (September 12) that Meg White is suffering from "acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time".
They added: "The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans. We hate to let people down and are very sorry."
The duo's jaunt was set to go into October, but as of now none of the shows have been rescheduled. Tickets will be refunded at the points of purchase.
The scrapped dates are:
Albuquerque Kiva Auditorium (September 13)
Austin City Limits Festival (15)
Austin Stubbs Bar-B-Q (16)
San Diego Coors Ampitheatre (18)
Inglewood Forum (19)
Berkeley Greek Theatre (21)
Anchorage George M Sullivan Sports Arena (24)
Seattle Paramount Ballroom (26/27)
Boise Idaho Center Theater (28)
Salt Lake City E Center (29)
Jackson Hole Snowking Center (30)
Rapid City Rushmore Plaza Civic Center (October 2)
Fargo Civic Auditorium (3)
Lincoln Pershing Center Auditorium (4)
Chicago Aragon Ballroom (6/7)
Honolulu Neal S Blaisdell Center (10)
A UK tour is set to follow, and is due to kick off on October 24 at Glasgow's SECC. At present, these dates look set to still set to go ahead.
