The White Stripes' film Under Great White Northern Lights is to be shown in UK cinemas to coincide with its DVD and CD release later this year.

The film, which is directed by Emmett Malloy, traces the duos' 2007 tour of Canada, and features performance footage alongside backstage interviews and vignettes.

A live album and DVD of Under Great White Northern Lights is released on March 15, with a limited-edition boxset available the following day.

Cinema screenings of the film will also take place in March.
