Roger Daltry to appear on CSI
The Who singer is set for US crime drama
frontman Roger Daltrey is to make a guest appearance in a hit US police series.
The singer will star in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
The rock veterans' legendary hit 'Who Are You' provides the theme tune to the original Las Vegas-based CSI while other songs from the band appear on spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
Producers described his forthcoming guest appearance as "a surprise role that will keep viewers guessing", according to trade paper Hollywood Reporter.
Daltrey previously starred in the title role of the 1975 adaption of the rock opera, Tommy, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
The meanwhile will release 'Endless Wire', their first album in 24 years on October 31.
