The Who invite unsigned band to play London show
Roger Daltrey handpicks support band
The Who have personally invited an unsigned band to support them when they play their Teenage Cancer Trust gig next week (March 31).
Band The Electric City will open up for the rock veterans at the Royal Albert Hall, performing alongside Vincent Vincent And The Villains.
To check out the band go to their Myspace.com/electriccitymusic page.
The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey spotted the four-piece London band when they supported The Futureheads at a Teenage Cancer Trust gig in Newcastle last year (September 16).
The Teenage Cancer Trust gigs run from March 26-31, and include headline slots from the likes of Noel Gallagher and Kasabian.
