The Who to perform acoustic charity gig at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium

The Who are to perform a rare acoustic gig in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust at Arsenal FC's annual charity ball.

The Legends And Youth Ball, which marks the end of Arsenal and Teenage Cancer Trust's season-long partnership, will see Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey perform a full set of Who classics, acoustically.

VV Brown will also perform on the night.

Daltrey, who is a patron of Teenage Cancer Trust and a dedicated Arsenal fan, paid tribute to both factions in a statement.

"We're both honoured to be playing at the Legends And Youth Ball to celebrate Arsenal's fantastic support of Teenage Cancer Trust throughout this season. I have been fighting for this cause for many years and I'm thrilled that this partnership has made and will continue to make a huge difference to young people with cancer."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and the club's first team are set to be present for the gig.

A limited number of tickets to the ball, priced at £1,200 per pair, or £6,000 for a table of 10, are still available through legendsandyouth@teenagecancertrust.org.
