Dave McCabe falls ill in London
The Zutons singer Dave McCabe has been hospitalised in London.
McCabe suffered an allergic reaction to a drink, and was taken in for treatment. However, he was well enough to make a trip to Amsterdam for a live show that night.
A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM: “He suffered a reaction to a health drink of all things. He was given a shot of adrenaline because he came up with a bad rash. They wanted to keep an eye on him but fortunately he’s fine now.”
The band released their comeback single ’Why Won't You Give Me Your Love?’ last Monday (April 3). It’s set to enter the UK Top Ten this weekend.
Also, an exclusive interview with the band features in this week’s NME, which is out nationwide now.
