Drummer out with viral infection
The Zutons have cancelled a show tonight (November 21) at Brighton Dome.
Drummer Sean Payne has been diagnosed as having a viral infection and been told to take two days rest, by a doctor.
In a statement, the band say : “It is hoped that Sean will be well enough to continue the bands tour in Manchester on Thursday (November 23).
“The Brighton date will be re–scheduled as soon as possible and tickets remain valid. Refunds will be available from point of purchase for anyone unable to attend the re- scheduled shows.
The band apologises for any inconvenience or upset caused. All efforts have been made to continue with the show, but unfortunately a replacement drummer could not be found at such short notice.”
