These New Puritans set for shows with 15-piece brass and woodwind ensemble

Group to recreate their second album 'Hidden' as it was originally recorded

These New Puritans have announced details of a series of shows where they will be joined by a 15-piece brass and woodwind ensemble to play their second album 'Hidden'.

The special gigs will recreate the LP as it was originally recorded using the orchestra - who will be conducted by Gorillaz collaborator André de Ridder - plus Foley techniques to "mimic the sounds of heads being crushed and swords being drawn".

Beginning with a show at The Barbican in London on October 23, the group will also perform the album at Holland's Crossing Border Festival on November 20 and at Centre Pompidou in Paris on December 18.

Additional dates are set to be announced shortly.

These New Puritans will play the following:

London The Barbican (October 23)
Den Hague Crossing Border Festival (November 20)
Paris Centre Pompidou - Grande Salle de Concert (December 18)
