These New Puritans played a brand new song in session for Radio 1 last night (July 3).

The track, which is titled 'And It's Risen', was performed for Zane Lowe's radio show and does not appear on the band's new album 'Field Of Reeds', released earlier this year. Speaking about the recording of 'Field Of Reeds', Jack Barnett of the band revealed: "I like the sense with this music that you are surrounded by people playing instruments. You can hear someone move or breathe before they begin playing."

These New Puritans are also now joined by Portugese singer Elisa Rodrigues, who appears in the photo above. Rodrigues is a blues singer and released her debut album in 2012.

The tracklisting for 'Field Of Reeds' is as follows:

'This Guy's In Love With You'
'Fragment Two'
'The Light In Your Name'
'V (Island Song)'
'Spiral'
'Organ Eternal'
'Nothing Else'
'Dream'
'Field Of Reeds'
