Thin Lizzy announce UK tour despite singer's death
Reformed band hit the road later this year
Thin Lizzy are set to follow in the footsteps of The Jam and The Doors by embarking on a reunion tour without featuring their original lead singer.
The Irish band's singer and main song writer Phil Lynott died in 1986. His replacement is John Sykes.
The 17-date UK tour, featuring original guitarist Scott Gorham, will kick off in Leicester on November 22 and will finish at London Hammersmith Apollo on December 13.
The band have promised to play a host of hits, including 'Whiskey In The Jar' and 'The Boys Are Back In Town'.
