Thom Yorke releases free remixes online
Radiohead frontman posts two new tracks on website
Thom Yorke has posted free remixes of two tracks from his solo album ‘The Eraser’ online.
A remix of ‘The Clock’ by Surgeon and an ‘Analyse’ remix by Various are both now available from his solo website Theeraser.net.
They will be available until Dec 18.
The Radiohead frontman explained on his blog that Surgeon's mixing had really excited him.
"This was the one that made me think, we got to start getting these out," he wrote. "I was chuffed he wanted to do it as think he is a MASTER. He has turned it into something really hard. And disco. Well what i call disco anyhow. It made me very proud. I hope it gets played in a club somewhere. Not that I get out much nowadays."
Yorke hinted that these may be the first of many remixes to appear on his website.
"There's some freaky shit. They may start appearing soon. Gradually. Briefly. Just a taste. And then gone," he added before delivering his Christmas greeting: "Peace to us all during the festive season".
